At Concordia, our enrollment process is simple and direct.

The enrollment process starts with a visit to our school scheduled with our Admissions Director, Amanda Franke. Each February, Concordia hosts a Kindergarten Roundup Information and Enrollment Session in which you can learn how Concordia might serve you in choosing the best educational options for your family. For prospective transfer students, you are welcome to call anytime and schedule a personal tour, arrange a classroom visit, or just sit down to discuss any questions you may have about Concordia. You may complete the Request Information – Schedule a Visit form. You will be connected with Amanda Franke, Admissions Director, to help guide you through the process. STEPS TO ENROLL A KINDERGARTEN STUDENT AT CONCORDIA
Attend our Kindergarten Roundup night on Monday, February 3, 2020 @ 6:30 p.m. held in the School Library.
Complete and submit the application for admission, $160.00 enrollment fee, and a copy of state issued birth certificate as evidence of age. $160.00 enrollment fee can be paid by cash or check at either school office. Note that the enrollment fee is non-refundable.
Sign up that evening for a Kindergarten screening assessment to be scheduled for you child for Kindergarten readiness.
Receive official verification of acceptance
If you are unable to attend the Kindergarten Roundup night, you may schedule an appointment with Amanda to visit the school and receive more information on Kindergarten enrollment for your child.
STEPS TO ENROLL A TRANSFER STUDENT IN GRADES 1-8
Schedule a tour of our school with our Admissions Director, Amanda Franke.
A Shadow Day will be scheduled for the student to attend a day with their current grade class. This will include a screening assessment for your child.
Interview appointment with the Principal after Shadow Day of student. Bring most recent report card and report card from any other previous schools. Standardized test results if applicable to grade level.
Notification of official verification of acceptance to Concordia. Once accepted, please submit the required enrollment fee and documents:
$160.00 enrollment fee. Fee can be paid by cash or check at the School Office. Note that the Enrollment Fee is non-refundable.

DATES AND DETAILS.
For kindergarten and returning students, the enrollment period begins February 3rd (Come to our Kindergarten Roundup Information and Enrollment Session). Open enrollment for new students begins February 18th.
All children entering kindergarten must be five by August 1 of the current school year. Kindergarten Screenings will be scheduled by appointment on Tuesdays & Thursdays (February - May). Date/times TBD for the summer months. This allows our professional staff the opportunity to get to know your child and make the best decisions regarding class placement for the upcoming year.
New students in grades 1 through 8 are officially able to apply for the 2020-2021 school year beginning February 18th ( Open Enrollment). However, if a classroom has not yet reached capacity with returning students, we may not be able to accept your application before then. Don’t delay in coming to visit and begin the application process; some classrooms do reach capacity!
APPLIED. ACCEPTED. NOW WHAT?
Apply for Scholarships and Financial Assistance. Once you have submitted your student scholarship application and all required documents, you will be contacted by our financial assistant, Danielle Bandelier with your scholarship award information. Scholarship awards are determined in May and then on an ongoing basis up until school begins in August.
Complete your required Health and Physical Forms prior to the start of school.
A summer newsletter will be mailed to you in July containing important information for the upcoming school year. Our Orientation Night/Ice Cream Social is scheduled for August 11th for all parents/students from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Parents & students will have an opportunity to purchase school materials including, Bibles $11.00 (Grades 3 & Grades 5-8), Catechisms $16.00 (Grades 6-8), and Gym clothes (shirts $6.00, shorts $12.00 - Grades 5-8) You may also bring your child's school supplies to drop off, and pick up your car nametag in your child's classroom.
